Lindner & Fischer is the first and up to now only tanker manufacturer to have its vehicle superstructures certified under the proof of origin "Made in Germany " by the TÜV NORD CERT technical control board as the independent certification institute. The first recurring audit was conducted in April 2014.
Following the highly successful and trouble-free initial audit in 2013, the annual verification of the certification criteria was performed as anticipated without any complaints on the part of the auditor Jens Krawzinski. "With its very great vertical range of manufacture, Lindner & Fischer is a company of the kind now only very rarely to be found in Germany", according to Krawzinski. "That is why it is hardly surprising either that Lindner & Fischer is having this vertical range of manufacture and the associated product quality tested and confirmed with certification of proof of origin according to "Made in Germany" by an independent institute". Alongside the high degree of vertical depth of manufacture and vertical integration, the social commitment, consumer-relevant product requirements, demands imposed on supplier and the procurement strategy in addition to requirements on the management of the company are studied.
"We are proud to be able to assume corporate social responsibility", stresses Alfred Lindner and emphasises with his words that a company should not merely set its sights on commercial achievement. Corporate social responsibility in this case not just includes every worker and his/her job which, as Lindner explains, "is quickly and easily created", but also each individual employment position and the awareness that there is usually a family behind the employee for which the company also bears responsibility. The general management therefore remains attentive to all employees' problems (including personal matters) and offers help for all life situations. "Ranging from procurement of accommodation, including assistance during relocation by providing company cars or trailers, to financial support in the widest array of problem issues, we always endeavour to provide our employees support and be helpful", explains the human resources manager, Caroline Lindner.
Promotion of voluntary youth work is equally a part of the social commitment of Lindner & Fischer as offering student internships, involvement in community aid programmes of regionally based companies in crisis regions and support for handicapped persons. "Every broom installed on a Lindner & Fischer vehicle and offered for sale as spares originates from an institution for handicapped persons that provides the possibility for personal development and participation in social life", explains Heinz Klamt, the head of purchasing and materials management at Lindner & Fischer during the audit.
Lindner & Fischer will be submitting itself to the annual TÜV NORD technical control board monitoring audit in the future too and will be fulfilling the certification criteria out of corporate responsibility towards the German site.
