Lindner & Fischer AdBlue units
Following the new, even more stringent requirements of the EU concerning exhaust emission standards for vehicles, the need for addition of urea to normal fuel will further increase. The new exhaust emission standards Euro6 and Euro7 to be applicable in the next few years establish extremely low pollutant emissions, which precisely in the case of heavy utility vehicles can almost no longer be achieved or is only very difficult to achieve by means of modifications to the vehicle engines. In view of the necessity to be able to refuel with AdBlue, an increasing number of hauliers and service station operators are upgrading their fuel depots accordingly for storage and supply of vehicles with AdBlue.
In order to be able to constantly replenish these service stations and hauliers with AdBlue, Lindner & Fischer has developed specifically calibrated pumping and measurement units that fulfil the requirements of AdBlue transports.
Ureas such as AdBlue are highly corrosive, as a result of which a conventional construction of the dispensing fittings using materials such as aluminium is not possible. Consequently, we only use stainless steel components for all parts, ranging from the fittings cabinet, including the piping and extending to the couplings and the pump. Special AdBlue hoses are likewise used in addition to the specifically developed dispensing fitting from Dezi-Data, the “Dezi-Cam”. Since AdBlue has the property of freezing at no more than -10°C, a special solution needed to be found that prevents the fittings and lines from freezing during the cold season. For this purpose, the entire fittings cabinet is kept at the right temperature with the aid of an independent vehicle heater. This independent vehicle heater switches itself on automatically at external temperatures of 3°C and below and obtains the necessary fuel from the vehicle fuel tank. In order also to avoid freezing of the hoses, the latter are accommodated in the heated fittings cabinet and are stowed in empty tubes running crossways under the vehicle chassis. The openings for stowing the hoses lead from the fittings cabinet and are therefore automatically heated too.
Depending on requirements, our AdBlue units are built into platform vehicles for container transport or in tailor-made tankers from our company.
We not only offer fixed installed measurement units in our AdBlue product range, but also provide you mobile AdBlue pumping units for installation on BDF container chasses. Our AdBlue measurement units may of course also be ordered as mobile versions for use on platform vehicles or for warehouse use in the same manner as our lubricating oil units.
